It was a day of reconnaisance! For both competitors and media alike!

We did our own version of (media) recce today here in Quebec. The weather was great but the forecast is still calling for rain.. rain...rain....

We found our *shot* spots for tomorrow and the next day and the rally is certainly going to be one to remember. Spectator turnout is expected to be high despite the predicted weather.

The competitors were on the roads today conducting reconnaisance in the form of a two-pass recce. The teams were tuning their pace notes and preparing for what is certainly going to be 2-days of both technical and high speed competition.

Tomorrow will mark day-1 of the 2009 Rallye Baie-Des-Chaleurs.
