With Rally Tennessee only 3 days away, we are still prepping all of our equipment to head down for a great weekend of tarmac in the hills that surround Linden, TN.
Some good news is that the VSS problem we were dealing with at Rally NY USA should be fixed. I say should because we haven't had a chance to test it as of yet due to the transmission still not being installed on the car. Hopefully we will have the trans back in place tonite and able to test everything out tomorrow. Other things in the mix that still need some attention are suspension tuning and brakes. Our brakes will be arriving at our hotel in Hurricane Mills before we reach our destination. Sway bar and strut adjustments still need to be made for optimal handling.
We also have a new entry to the group. Instead of us renting another "NO Budget" truck and trailer, we have purchased a silver 2002 E350 16 passenger van! Of course only recieving this yesterday we are trying our best to get that ready for the long haul as well. New hitch, brake controller and wiring all need to be done. Some minor maintenance like oil change, battery charge and air filter all need to be done as well.
We look forward to seeing all of you out on the stages this weekend. Please feel free to stop by and say hi if you see us in service or anywhere else for that matter.
