Oregon Trail Rally and RalliTEK present...
Rally Day on Saturday, April 10, 2010
WHEN: Saturday April 10, 10 AM to 4 PM
WHERE: RalliTEK, 11744 NE Ainsworth Circle; Portland, OR 97220 (Off Airport Way E)
Join Oregon Rally Group and their rally friends for a day of fun at RalliTEK. If you’ve ever wondered just what it is we do, or how you can get involved, this is the day for you. We’ll have informal break-out sessions with some of ORG’s top rally minds, as well as ‘roaming experts’ so you can ask your questions. We’ll also have some rally cars present to check out, and a licensed tech inspector to look over rally cars, so stage rally drivers, take advantage of this opportunity to get your car checked out!
Morning break-out sessions:
10:00 AM - Intro to Rallying by ORG President Ben Bradley
11:15 AM - What Does a Rally Volunteer Do with Gloria Hale, ORG’s former Volunteer Coordinator
Join us for lunch and watch rally videos under the big top, and catch up with rally friends new and old. Our sister club, Cascade Sports Car Club’s time-speed-distance rally arm, Geargrinders, will be present for all your questions about this analytical and precise form of rallying.
Afternoon break-out sessions:
1:30 PM - Novice Driver’s presentation by ORG Past President Kristen Tabor and her co-driver, Jan Tabor
2:45 PM - Stage Rally Notes Seminar by Ben Bradley and Expert Co-driver Kathryn Hansen.
All throughout the day there will be videos, games, and things to see and people to talk to. Come on out and enjoy the fun!
