Creating Classifieds on World Rally Sport
Classifieds on World Rally Sport are both free and simple.
The system allows you to post a classified advertisement as both a “looking to buy” as well as “wanting to sell”. If you’re looking for a set of used gravel tires create a “looking to buy” advertisement on World Rally Sport!
Creating a Classified
A classified on World Rally Sport has several options you can choose to include.
Title: Your classified requires a title. Keep your title as short but as descriptive as possible.
Example: 2004 Subaru WRX STI
WTB/WTS: You must select whether the classified is a wanting to buy or wanting to sell ad.
Price: This field is where you input your price. We recommend you input the currency symbol in front of your price to clarify which currency you are listing it under. As World Rally Sport there are several currencies people may consider.
Example: £ 9,000.00 or USD 5,000.00 or CDN 2,000.00 etc.
Closed Box: this check box should remain unchecked unless the classified has fulfilled its purpose. Once you have been satisfied by the classified you can edit your ad and check this box. This will keep the classified ad indexed for the community to see but show that it has fulfilled its purpose.
Body: This is where you type to content of your classified advertisement. Describe the details of your classified here.
• Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
• Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <cite> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd>
• Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
Public: all classifieds are published publically by default.
Seller Information: here you can provide your name, email, location, and phone number if desired. None of these fields are required to complete your classified, although providing at the minimum an email and general location will improve the effectiveness of your classified significantly.
Images: you can up load an entire gallery of images for your classified as well. So if you have several images to place on your classified you can do so using the upload image function.
• At this time each image must be uploaded separately.
User Relationships Content Access: you have some basic control over who can see your classified. If you want only your friends to be able to view the ad, click the view checkbox. The same applies to the fan options.
Both the Update and Delete categories have little practicality for classifieds and will be removed in later versions. However in the unlikely case you want your friends to be able to modify and or delete your classified click the appropriate boxes and that is what it will do.
File Attachments: You may also attach a file to your classified if you would like to include any documentation such as a car dealer inspection sheet or work history etc.
