X-mas Ideas

So I know its scary to say it, but Christmas is right around the corner, and I have no idea what to get my man, or my dad. Seriously, they both have everything already! So I come to you, and ask HELP!

My dad is really into fixing motorbikes, however has most of the tools required, any ideas? What did you get your dad? I want something out of the ordinary, no shirts/ ties!

And for the bf, he is not really mechanically inclined, but I still need to find him something. He also has a motorbike, but really has never worked on it.

HELP ME!!!! I need some male imput!

Making stuff usually works well. It puts part of yourself into it. and keeps you out of the consumerism hell AKA: the malls, stores, etc......

I am terrible at x-mas shopping. I usually do it all in the week leading up to the day, and let it be known I don't recommend this tactic to anyone. As far as ideas... I will have to get back to you on that one lol... :p (I like getting a good tie, cologne etc. lol)

I think if my dad gets any more shirts, he will need to build a bigger closet, and its already a walk in!

I know that its kinda girly but you could get your dad a bamboo plant for his office downstairs. They are relatively easy to take care of. Besides it not like you don't live in Kelowna were the best little bamboo stand is.:p

The bamboo thing in the mall closed down, and dad closed down the clinic July 1st! haha. Yea, Mel I need a shopping buddy, I need you to come over and we can go nuts for a day and get everything done. Like I still have mom & dad's bday before X-mas PLUS xmas to worry about!

She closes down for the summer and into the fall. She should be back in November ( I think). I know that she goes to Thiland to see the company that grows the Bamboo that she sales. I'll make it up to Kelowna one of these weekends to see you. If all else fails you can come down here and we can go to Ikea:D.

Come up Nov 8th weekend and come to my birthday party. Plenty of time to drive up Friday night, hang saturday shop with me, then party, then breakie Sunday, then drive home!!!! DO IT DO IT DO IT

I love just wondering around that store. And the entire visit can be topped off with some amazing sweedish meatballs from the cafateria, the fish is also good, so is the chicken, not to mention the grilled cheese is rather tasty.... ah screw it, its all good!

I imagine it would be much like me going into Princess Auto... running from one side of the store to the other going wow this is cool, but look at this, now this is awesome, Ooooo that could be useful!
