Totem Rally was a blast .. where did all the snow come from . Since there is no snow on Sun Peaks . the Kamloops ski hill we did not expect snow . and then all of Jamison Creek was snow and ice . and on the pass from Adams Lake to Vavenby . it was a foot deep and the road had not been plowed . .one icy set of tracks to follow .... some of the competitors could not come close to the average and the ones that caught them could not pass . Ended up with one 6 car group so they had to cut the last 2 controls . Too bad ..
Sunday was fun . lots of fun roads with enough ice to keep you paying attention . Car 17 a Neon . fell into a creek .. they were not a full step off the road but on their side with the side of the car level with the road . and a foot of water in the car .. They had gone off really slow and while they need a crane to get it back on . there was very little damage most the rear quarter panel and it was very driveable . ..
The icy hill climb at Green Lake was another surprise . We past a Saab and the Toyota Celica as they could not make it up at all .. glare ice .. love all wheel drive
Too bad its so long now to Thunderbird . We need another winter rally .
