Tall Pines - Graphicals

I thought I would have some fun with a couple shots from Tall Pines.

These were done using an "HDR" technique, but as you probably know are not true HDR images.

I just starting playing with this technique and it can definitely do some pretty interesting and abstract stuff.

Thanks I still do not fully know how to maximize the use of the technique, but it sure is fun to play around with. :p

Sweet pictures! Do you have a whole gallery of them like this? You should come and shoot some of this awesomeness at Idaho next year... :)

Thats a good idea, if there is interest in this kind of post-editing style, I will try do something like that for the next event in 2009.

Its fun to see how each turns out, lighting can have a large affect on whether it looks good or bad. Too many shadows can really kill the image.
