Is there snow at PFR?

Some times there is snow.. some times there is lots of mud sometimes there is dry gravel. sometimes it's all in one stage.

it all depends if i can get the time off of work if i make it there to compete or not. I am really hoping.. if not i will be there with my camera

Melissa and Paul did a pre run this weekend, and I think she said it was snowing but not sticking, fingers crossed it stays like that. There is not much worse then standing on the top of Helmer all day freezing. However, I would do it again and again, just because its so much fun... sick and twisted eh? :rolleyes:

I've heard a lot about the events out west. I wish I could go. Maybe next year Ill make it out to Rocky Mountain Rally.

I've actually always been quite disapointed with the number of volunteers that we get from Merritt.
People that come out to Merritt Rallies
Me- 20 yr old girl
My Sister Jen- 15 yr old girl
Melissa- 20 yr old girl
Her sister Sarah- 16 yr old girl
Shane - 18? yr old guy

and that's all folks!

However, we do get huge support from Can Tire/ The Best Western/ The Middlesburough/ BP's/ The City, and lots of other local sponsers without their support the event could not go on. And for that we love them!

Canada is so big, do you get all your East Coasters out West and vice versa?

For the national rallies we get the big names out West, but its the same issue we have for going out east --> $$$$$
By the time you fly all your crew or pile into a van and drive and pulling the rally car, you need 7-10 days to drive/ rally/ drive home, plus food/ accomidation/ gas. We were looking at doing it last year, but snap, it was going to be pricy! It's just a shame that they scrapped the CN rail, rally car towing program (they put your car on a train and ship it for you!)

Dang living in the second largest country in the world!
