New car for a new year in 2010...

So I decided I needed to inform all of you that my new car will be getting delivered to my shop within the next week or two.

As many of you know we suffered a major off at Int'l Rally NY in October and are left with needing to build a completely new car. Almost nothing was salvageable from the car. Motor mounts broke and slapped the motor off the frame rail breaking the timing covers and intake/exhaust cams on the right side. The trans was already on its way out earlier in the stage and aided in our off.

Will tell you what it is when I get it to the shop and snap some pics ;)

We ended 3rd overall and got our first ever stage win on SS17!!!

SO a little update after TON Rally...

We had a 'minor' off on SS3. Went off and over about 5-6 stumps and then center punched a tree.

later on we had what we think is a fuel supply issue. We were slowed down on many of the steep uphills from fuel starvation.

So with all that damage we took on at TON Rally, we have a long list of things that needs to be remedied before STPR.

complete new front end on the car
new suspension
new windshield
paint
new wing
new graphics
new sticker pkg
new fuel pump
new fuel filter
new plugs
new air filter
new mudflaps
new fender liners
new exhaust and HFC
I would also like a new turbo, 34mm restrictor, injectors and a tune, but likely not going to happen.

So over the last week we have been working a bit on the car and have tackled most of the list above. Tomorrow we go to paint and will hopefully have it back by Satuday afternoon. Sunday and Monday are holidays so i can hopefully get the rest of the car done on those days and pack up on Tuesday night ready to leave right after work on Wednesday.

Recce starts at 7am sharp on Thursday so...
