WARNING: DO NOT WATCH THIS IF YOU REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKE HORSES.
The footage in this video is graphic and may be unsuitable for some viewers! This past weekend on the Rally Vuelta de la Manzana (General Roca) in Rio Negro, Argentina, Federico Villagra's Mitsubishi Evo X collided with a wild horse when the animal attempted to cross the stage as the rally car came over a crest. Villagra ("el Coyote"), who typically pilots a Ford Focus RS for Munchi's Ford WRT in the WRC, competes in an Evo X in his country's national series. Villagra and his co-driver were unharmed and only lost 30 seconds despite the shocking impact. They later DNF'd with mechanical issues. The horse sustained serious injury and had to be put down. Of course, it is very unfortunate when this sort of incident occurs on stages. Federico Villagra Collides with Horse: CLICK HERE More In-Car footage from the incident: CLICK HERE - |
