Karlstad, Sweden — The 2010 WRC season is about to start, and first event is Rally Sweden. Rally Headquarter is based in Karlstad, servicepark is at the airfield in Hagfors and Värmland is offering proper winter-stages trough the forests. 21 stages will keep the drivers busy for 4 days, starting with a super special on Thursday evening in Karlstad.

Petter Solberg, who is about to start his 150th WRC event this week, is happy to finally present the new look of the team and the car in Sweden. "We wanted to do something different this year, and you have to admit - it catches your eye," says Petter Solberg. The new colors on the rallycar and truck are mainly red and yellow.

The team has been testing in Sweden and Norway before the event, and is well prepared for the Swedish stages. – We have done a lot of testing before this rally, and I’m sure that with this car, we will be fighting in the top, Petter Solberg says.

Rally Sweden starts in Karlstad on Thursday 11 February.

When asked about his 2010 season, Petter said, "2010 is the year I really believe I have the tools to be able to fight at the very top again. I have kept dreaming about this opportunity for such a long time and we have all put in very, very long hours to make it happen. With fantastic support from our sponsors we have been able to get the budget together, enabling us to get the equipment to fight for wins."

Codriver Phil Mills said, "We are just as committed as ever and have never given up the hope to reach the top again. After a few days testing in Sweden and Norway we are now as prepared as we can get, and we look forward to the WRC season 2010."

Team Manager Ken Rees, "We are a small team compared to the manufacturers but we have a massive amount of passion and will try very seriously to do our best in preparing everybody in the team for winning. We will continue where we left off last year, and look forward to a successful season with the new car."
