Ken Block and co-driver Alex Gelsomino claim the sixth Rally in the 100 Acre Wood win of their career.

Dusty 100 Acre Wood Down to the Wire

It's a dog fight between 2011 American rally champion David Higgins and WRC veteran Ken Block, a five time winner of the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood in Missouri.

Block has won eight of the nine stages so far on Saturday. But only 12.6 seconds separate the pair going into the final two stages Saturday evening.

The big problem now is dust and the two night stages left. Block doesn't have to fight the dust being the first car on the road. Higgins is fighting it while following Block's trail. more...

Block Dominates Afternoon Loop

Monster World Rally Team driver Ken Block dominates the Saturday afternoon loop at 100 Acre Wood posting the fastest times on all five stages including both passes of the 0.52-mile Potosi Super Special Stage.

Block and co-driver Alex Gelsomino are locked in a battle with Subaru Rally Team USA's David Higgins and Craig Drew. The crews had only 0.1 of a second separating them after Stage 10. Block has since extended his lead over the defending American champions by 12.6 seconds with only two stages remaining before the rally concludes in Salem. more...

Tingwu Song of China and co-driver Martin Brady of Ireland were having a strong event at the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood in Missouri before an engine failure ended their weekend.

The team was ninth overall and sixth in class when the failure occurred at the start of Stage 8 Saturday afternoon.

CrazyLeo Retires from 100 Acre Wood

The 100 Acre Wood Rally comes to a disappointing end for CrazyLeo Urlichich, who has retired from the second U.S. event of his career due to mechanical trouble.

Urlichich and co-driver Carl Williamson went off the road and crashed into a tree on Stage 9 after a faulty tie rod broke. The crew had tried to repair the tie rod prior to their off but the temporary fix gave out as they negotiated a fast right-hand turn.

CrazyLeo had started Saturday's stages in fourth overall only 25.1 seconds adrift from ex-European champion Krzysztof Holowczyc, who is nursing an engine down on power. more...

Higgins Chases Block for 100AW Lead

Subaru Rally Team USA's David Higgins has cut into Ken Block's 100 Acre Wood Rally lead after the morning loop of stages.

Higgins and co-driver Craig Drew started Day Two 18.6 seconds back but took advantage when Block suffered two punctures. Higgins is now only 0.1 of a second off the lead despite a spin and a gearbox problem that forced him to run the last stage before Service 1 in fourth gear. more...

Higgins Finds Trouble Early on Day Two

2011 U.S. rally champion David Higgins, Subaru Rally Team USA, had a difficult loop Saturday morning at the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood.

Still, he managed to carve into a small lead held by rally leader and WRC veteran Ken Block when the stages started Saturday morning.

Higgins spun once and had a transmission problem that forced him to run SS10, the last stage before service, in fourth gear. The crew swapped out the transmission during the quick service and Higgins and co-driver Craig Drew left looking for a tenth of a second somewhere to catch Block. more...

Holowczyc Down on Power at 100 Acre Wood

Former Polish and European rally champion Krzysztof Holowczyc and his co-driver Maciej Wislawski are fighting to recover from mechanical problems that started before the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood even began.

Holowczyc is sampling American rallying for the first time. He said he liked the roads but admitted that American drivers with experience on these stages have a real advantage.

This is some kind of admission from "Holek" who finished the Dakar Rally in tenth overall with the MINI factory team last January. more...
