The 2012 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) season kicks off this evening with the start of the legendary Rallye Monte-Carlo, the opening round of the series.

Ford Confirms WRC 2012 Program

Ford of Europe announced today it is extending its participation in the FIA World Rally Championship into 2012 and 2013.

Long-term partner M-Sport, the British-based preparation company, which has successfully operated Ford’s WRC activities since 1997, will continue to operate the programme from its state-of-the-art facilities at Dovenby Hall in north-west England. more...

African Success for Nicolas Klinger

Nicolas Klinger, who co-drove Nicolas Vouilloz to Intercontinental Rally Challenge title glory in 2008 before joining forces with Thierry Neuville for the Belgian’s debut season in the IRC in 2010, has had plenty of reason to celebrate this season after winning two prestigious championships.

Klinger, from France, navigated Zimbabwean Conrad Rautenbach to the African and South African titles in an M-Sport Ford Fiesta S2000. Their success in South Africa came on the back of victories on three out of seven rounds.   more...
