Brazil World Rally Team Prepares to Test Ahead of Portugal

The Brazil World Rally Team is set to embark on his first pre-season test before heading to Portugal, round three of the World Rally Championship, which will mean the first outing this season for the brand new and latest WRC registered team.

Young Brazilian driver Daniel Oliveira, alongside with his Portuguese co-driver Carlos Magalhaes, will be tackling the first kilometers with the recent unveiled MINI John Cooper Works S2000 which will be using in the Vodafone Rally of Portugal (March 24th-27th). more...

The M-Sport Stobart Ford World Rally Team will aim to continue its bright start to the 2011 FIA World Rally Championship at the Vodafone Rally de Portugal next week.
 
The leading privateer outfit is just behind the two manufacturer squads, 11 points off second place.  M-Sport Stobart’s Mads Østberg is only three points adrift of third in the FIA Drivers’ standings and after two rounds he lies five points ahead of fellow Norwegian Petter Solberg. His current position is the best ever for a Stobart driver in the team’s six year history.

After the first test day was abandoned due to heavy rain in Seville, things could only get better for the MINI WRC Team and drivers Kris Meeke and Dani Sordo . Åre, Sweden -- Following on from their round one success, Jimmy Joge and co-driver John Stigh win round two of the Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge Sweden, the Fäviken Winter Rally. Having pulled out a lead during Friday evening’s three stages, Joge/Stigh were able to maintain their position throughout Saturday’s four stages and finished 21.7 seconds ahead of Patrik Johansson/Jesper Johansson.They held off a hard-charging Jocke Nyman/Bo Holmstrand who were making up for lost time after a slow start on Friday. more...
