Tanner Foust Joins Ford Racing for Rallycross and X Games Rally Program

Tanner Foust announced a multi-year partnership with Ford today to represent the Blue Oval in the Global Rallycross Championship (GRC), European Rallycross Championship (ERC) and at X Games 17 in Los Angeles.

Foust, the most successful rally driver in X Games history, will drive a Ford Fiesta and the long-term agreement means he will compete behind the wheel of a Ford for many years to come. His programme will be supported by Rockstar Energy Drink and Etnies. more...

The thrilling battle for first place on Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Inglés has ended in victory for Juho Hänninen and Škoda Motorsport.

Jan Kopecký was fastest through the final stage but lost out on victory to his Finnish team-mate by 1.5s.

Thierry Neuville completed the stage with the fourth fastest time to secure the final place on the podium in his Team Peugeot Belgium-Luxembourg 207.

Fellow Belgian Freddy Loix took fourth in the overall standings in his BFO Škoda although he was beaten on the stage by Bryan Bouffier. more...

Ogier Takes Dramatic Jordan Rally Win

Citroen Total World Rally Team's Sebastien Ogier has won the Jordan Rally by the narrowest of margins from BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team driver Jari-Matti Latvala.

The Frenchman, 27, came from half a second behind to set the fastest time on the closing stage and overhaul Latvala by two tenths of a second.

It is the narrowest victory margin in the history of the World Rally Championship - beating the previous record of 0.3s when Marcus Gronholm pipped Sebastien Loeb on the 2007 Rally New Zealand. more...

Kopecký Leads IRC Canarias After Day One


Jan Kopecky’s bid to make it two wins out of two on Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Ingles remains on course after the Skoda Motorsport driver completed the opening day of the all-asphalt competition with a lead of 5.7s over rising star Thierry Neuville.

Kopecky, from Czech Republic, moved in front on Friday’s second stage and remained in the lead despite the close attentions of the chasing pack. more...
