Tanner Foust in European Rallycross Championship Contention After Fourth Round

Rockstar Energy Drink Driver Tanner Foust once again put on a spectacular show for fans of the European Rallycross Championship at Round 4 in Hell, Norway.

The American driver set top times and was the fastest in the third qualifying heat to best hometown favorite -- and defending champion -- Sverre Isachsen.

The series visited a new track for this round, Lånkebanen at Hell, near Trondheim. Featuring huge elevation changes and a turn similar to Laguna Seca's famed "Corkscrew," the pressure was on for strong, technical driving. more...

Ford Reveals New Black Mean Machine Livery on French Tarmac Test (VIDEO)

Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team has introduced a stunning new black colour scheme to its Fiesta RS World Rally Car for this week's asphalt test in the in the Vosges Mountains in the Alsace region of France.

The car, Ford's challenger in the FIA World Rally Championship, carries the same design that it sported on the opening seven rounds of the series. However, the car's base colour is black throughout, with white branding on top for Ford and its partners. more...

Driving his modified 2011 Monster Sport (Suzuki) SX4 Hill Climb Special, Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima broke his own former world record, as well as the seemingly unattainable 10-minute mark, all while capturing his sixth consecutive overall win with a time of 09:51:58 at the 89th Annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

On a fiercely competitive day, Monster conquered the climb decisively, mastering the Peak's winding and perilous path to the top. Team Monster Sport's SX4 Hill Climb Special was unyielding, making full use of its racecar chassis and 900-plus horsepower. more...

David Higgins Smashes Mt. Washington Hillclimb Record

The course record at the Mt. Washington Hillclimb, one of Americas oldest auto races, was smashed today in convincing fashion by professional rally driver David Higgins at the wheel of a Vermont SportsCar prepared 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI.  Higgins, from the Isle of Man, broke the course record, which stood for thirteen years, by over thirty seconds at the revived 'Climb to the Clouds', which was last held in 2001. more...

David Higgins Breaks Climb to the Clouds Record

David Higgins made Mt. Washington Climb to the Clouds History as he crossed the line in 6 minutes 19 seconds during his first full-length timed run of Sunday morning. Higgins was just over a second faster than his Subaru Rally Team USA teammate Travis Pastrana who ran the Mt. Washington Auto Road in a similar car to promote the return of the hillclimb last fall. The prior record set by Frank Sprongl in 1998 is 6:41.99 and has stood for 13 years.

Jon Kemp followed at 7:06.82 and Todd Cook has the 3rd fastest time with a 7:07.33, less than a second back. more...
